Your state of health may require different types of yoga at different stages of life or wellness. You may need to begin with something very gentle and supportive if you are healing from injuries, suffering back or other pain. Your strength, stamina, flexibility and balance will grow little by little in small increments and over time you may choose to move on to a more challenging program.

Following are some suggestions, but please feel free to contact us if you have further questions... Yoga is our favourite subject, so we are always glad to hear from you!

Rest, Renew and Relax
For a relaxing all round yoga class, most beginners and ongoing students choose our most popular class "Rest, Renew and Relax" class one or two times a week.

Stress Relief and Gentle Movement
Extra relaxing is our Gentle Yoga Class especially if your main goal is stress relief and a very gentle and supportive workout.

Yoga as Medicine
More and more often Doctors are recommending yoga to help with pain, injury rehabilitation, relief from stress or depression. If your chiropractor, physiotherapist or doctor has recommended yoga as therapy we recommend that you start with one or two private classes and then move on to our Yoga Rx class.

Remember yoga is not intended to be a substitute for medical care but may be a complement to it.

For More Challenge
For increased mental, physical and emotional challenge, fitness and sport conditioning, beginners and continuing students will find Hatha Flow an accessible and challenging class.

Grace and Strength is an intermediate flowing hatha class. Ashtanga flow is done in a heated room and all of these are good choices for a challenging workout.

If yoga is a part of your conditioning, weight loss or maintenance program, we recommend coming to classes 2 or 4 times per week if possible.
